Our Paris family getaway!

Here’s what our family had to say about our stay at the Hôtel de Sers.

 

Welcome and room

When we arrived for our family city-trip, we were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a suite.

 

The suite was very spacious and our son stayed on the sofa bed in the living room. A door separates the living room from the master bedroom, preserving everyone’s privacy and giving the impression of staying in a real apartment. The furniture is of the highest quality, and some of the armchairs are even by Roche Bobois.

 

During my short stay in this family hotel in Paris, I appreciated the confidential nature of this human-scale hotel. You really feel at home here. The staff are attentive and deliver impeccable service.

 

Gourmet break

At breakfast and in the lobby, we bumped into a few other families. There’s no doubt about it: children are more than welcome here! The hotel’s location is perfect, and it takes just a few minutes to walk to the Champs Élysées. A twenty-minute walk will take you across the Seine to the Left Bank and the famous Saint-Germain district.

 

One lunchtime we tried out the hotel’s room service. Our meal was served quickly and was tasty. I also recommend the elegant Lebanese snack bar Noura, located 100 meters from the hotel and perfect for a quick lunch. The breakfast included in the bed and breakfast package is served à la carte and consists of pastries, fresh fruit juice, yoghurt and bread, not forgetting hot drinks.

 

This formula could be expanded, but gourmets can always select dishes served at extra cost.

 

Activities and surroundings

The hotel’s sports and wellness area isn’t very large, but it’s nevertheless great to be able to relax in the sauna and hammam after a long day spent roaming the streets of Paris. We didn’t try out the massage service, but the treatment room looks very pleasant.

 

The hotel’s glass roof is magical. I also loved the library area, ideal for relaxing. In terms of activities, our son loved Paris, especially the soccer match we went to see at the Parc des Princes. He had stars in his eyes when he saw the PSG stars take the field!
