This time, Little Guest took us to the northern part of Sardinia for a 3-night stay at the Abi d’Oru, a kids-friendly hotel that offers an idyllic setting, a small green bower with a picturesque charm. Once our luggage packed, it was time to take off!

At our arrival at the hotel, we were very warmly greeted. A friendly and smiling member of the hotel’s personnel quickly took care of our luggage and proposed to park our car. We were then offered a refreshing welcome drink on the terrace of the main lobby where a phenomenal view awaited us, such a beautiful sight that we ourselves delayed our own check-in! We then headed to the reception desk where our check-in only took a few minutes.

An irreproachable welcome then, with a warm towel offered as we had arrived. Right after, we were accompanied to our room where our luggage had been brought. The professionalism and the attitude of the hotel’s staff surprised us in a pleasant manner.

“A special mention to the dressing room: it’s incredibly spacious!”

Our room, a junior suite with sea view had had been prepared before our arrival. A great cleanliness, an accommodation that was found within the main building of the hotel where a gift from the hotel was awaiting us. The surface area was greatly sufficient for my husband and me, but I would like to give a special mention to the dressing room: it’s incredibly spacious! However, the bathroom looks a bit old, yet in a good condition. Finally, our terrace gave off a view on the Marinella Bay, a wonderful view for a well-deserved rest.

We have been surprised by the decoration of the kids-club which is quite original. The place looks safe for children and there is no doubt that the childminders love their work and to entertain children. There were 5 children for 3 childminders at the time of our visit. The access to the kids-club is easy, also given the fact that it is positioned right by the main pool of the hotel.

Speaking of swimming pool, children can enjoy their very own waterpark and their own pool, both comprised within the kids-club. A secured place and a little paradise for memorable holidays and memories! The majority of the activities take place outdoor, which is the opportunity for young children to bathe in the Sardinian sun.

As we all forget something before leaving for a trip, no need to panic! The hotel puts at the disposal of families all the amenities needed, for free and without any prior reservation. An additional comfort that really pleased us, not to mention the changing tables available in the restaurants.

“Varied menus, kids menus and even meals for babies”

We had booked a BB meal plan, so we took our chance to try the local cuisine within the hotel among the breakfast buffets. Varied menus, kids menus and even meals for babies, as no one is on the side at the Abi d’Oru! The food feels fresh, balanced and of great quality, we liked it till the end and the catering was on point. We though regret that the buffets are not at a reasonable height for children. Oh, and last detail, the Abi d’Oru hotel produces its own honey, and it was a delight.

The Abi d’Oru definitely is a family-friendly and kids-friendly hotel. Everything is thought there to ensure unforgettable holidays to parents and children, with a kids-club that young tots will never want to leave. Moreover, parents can travel worry-free as the hotel provides with the amenities needed, without additional cost and upon a simple request.

Finally, a warm atmosphere, a very friendly and helpful personnel and a lovely setting finished to convince us. We can’t wait to come back, but with our daughters this time!
