A perfect stay at Club Med Da Balaia!

The Algarve with its sumptuous golden cliffs, its magnificent beaches and bucolic landscapes, this is what I imagined about my holiday before leaving. I was not wrong! And to begin with this second part of the trip to the Algarve, I was lucky enough to stay at Club Med, a hotel nestled in the south of Portugal, a few kilometres from the Portuguese Saint Tropez.

New experience and wonderful place

For the second part of our stay in Algarve, we decided to leave our luggages at the resort Club Med Da Balaia. Normally, we usually chose other hotels for this location. However, I recognise that I am very satisfied by this new experience.

The first asset about Club Med is its location. The hotel is only located 40 minutes away from the airport Faro in a secure and fully accessible environment. Furthermore, the setting is amazing with a wonderful well-maintained garden and a direct access to a huge sandy beach.

Activities for everyone!

The supervision of the youngest children is very complete. Babies are looked after from 4 months onwards at All Saints’ Day. In other words, the nursery is not busy, so they take the time to look after the little kids for half a day or a whole day. In addition, meals, mashed food and compotes are served every day at the baby-club, which allows parents to relax as much as possible. Everything has been considered by at Club Med.

Children and teenagers are free to choose their morning activities. There is a wide range of activities to choose from according to age and preference, such as tennis, mini golf, football or yoga.

The hotel also offers activities for parents such as aqua gym, archery, paddleboarding and more.

The other asset of this hotel is its meals. The choice is so wide that you can’t get tired of the food. Every day we enjoyed an aperitif before heading to the main restaurant with a very varied buffet.

Finally, we were impressed by the amazing children’s show put on by the hotel. What a better way to conclude a wonderful stay! We left with our hearts full of memories and the desire to return back next year!

In a few words

I was truly enchanted by the hotel itself, its location, its activities and its meals. The Club Med is a warm, comfortable and tastefully furnished place that is very conducive to rest and relaxation. I particularly appreciated all the little touches that set it apart, in my opinion, from other establishments in its category. I highly recommend it to young couples as well as to families with children wishing to enjoy an active and relaxing holiday in a luxurious setting.
